>>123998133The problem with the corporate sphere of things is how insanely cutthroat it all is, and a wrong move can have everyone else turn against them, or they are consistently looking to place blame for a mistake that cost the company. They can also prosecute someone for making a bad call that cost a company a few million. Everyone is constantly looking out for everyone else to cut them down and they have to focus on profits, and nothing else.
Also add in the fact that they have to dance around a lot of other things like company reputation, and in 2021 it is INCREDIBLY easy to have a reputation ruined just by not having enough minorities in a commercial to Twitter's liking or some higher up suit getting into legal trouble and it stains the rest of the board, or even an actor saying a bad line in a commercial, sometimes the actor is a part of a scandal and that reflects back on the company. They have to walk on eggshells or else a bad statement, wrong tweet, messed up billboard message could cost them millions, get the company sued, or generate a boycott. And every competing company is going to jump in on it too since it's in their best interest to see them go under.
no one can afford to have their company attached to something that society labeled problematic. They have to laser focus on revenue and nothing else because they are swimming in shark infested waters every single day.
