>>123999017>They wanted to show moral and philosophical conundrums, and the burdens of those trials fell to Finn as the main character.and there's nothing wrong with that, as long as it's done properly with no warped view of reality, no bullshit attached
marcy and peebles shoving finn aside like he's some sort of servant should be seen as such: 2 ancient beings antagonizing a young and joyful adventurer. nearly a betrayal of their friendship. but instead, they write it as it is because he's "creepy" or a "yucky boy"
the way he's at disadvantage or downplayed by the universe because he's going through harder times. nope, add others putting him down because he deserves to suffer (not need as in a narrative sense to keep the reader engaged) unlike the other characters that gained the privilege of OC status by the writers
I could add all the "shippingverse" as an argument but it was already """talked""" a lot
plenty of reasons could be mentioned for why, even that because he's a white blonde male (which in the context of the writers' nature, holds value)
and even theorize that's the reason for simon's ethnicity. but I like him and this theory is uninteresting but the truth is, they do dislike finn, a lot. he's the main character who's status the writers see as a great inconvenience that can't be written out of existence because that means purging nearly your whole fanbase, so instead they write him as much of a secondary character, that little by little purged the fanbase. why do you think besides twitter people only cared about him in obsidian, more than everyone else?
TL;DR they did the show dirty and finn even more
>>124000441>in obsidian there probably was no robot arm>together again the robot arm was basicI think you're into something
