>>123966895I get what you're trying to say and I agree and I believe many more also agree; many depictions of female superheroes are problematic and has been for a grand percentage of comics history, and it is only relatively recently that it has been addressed, whether it is redesign, writing, or creators behind them. While it has been "addressed", it by no means does mean that the problem is solved but the attention has been brought to the forefront and attempts are being made with varying degrees of success and some form of consistency. And yes, there are some like Patriotika where they're part of a cheesecake market and there's an obvious market that are willing to support it.
When it comes to PG, there is fault in her depiction over the years, whether its Wally Woods expanding her bust to mess with the editors or her clothes in tatters after battle in 2000s JSA but that's mostly how she's drawn and framed imo with some exceptions (geoff johns and boob window symbol missing). Fans and normies just know her for her meme being boobs and boob window and just ask for more nsfw fanart to the point where searching anything about her is one part comic stuff 99 parts nsfw fanart. That's where her depiction is not DC's fault but rather everyone else's fault.
Let's just enjoy when PG is drawn and written by Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner
