I think Dreamworks's arrangement with Netflix is special since, rather than ordering shows themselves for a certain amount of episodes, they ordered a large amount of content hours and Dreamworks just split them up into multiple shows. This meant that shows actually have clear beginnings, middles, and endings. The one show that escaped this, Spirit: Riding Free, technically didn't avoid this since it returned as a sequel series. Meanwhile, all the other Dreamworks streaming shows didn't last past 26 episodes.
