>>123861391>Remember when politics in cartoons use to address important issue like the environment, drugs, family and racism?Yeah, and they sucked. Every kid hated them and they never taught anyone a lesson that stuck because any kids suceptible to that kind of stuff in their teens was already being recruited by a cult that's much more effective, or going into drugs which were much more addictive. Everyone else just eventually realized they were pretend and stopped paying attention to their moral lessons by the time they were in their mid teens, and the adults just straight up learned that the people writing this are drugged out brainless idiots who know nothing of any valuable skills and due to the nepotism ridden nature of the writers/directers/Screen Actors Guild didn't even earn their place, they explicitly had to know someone else to get in there. Meaning all those issues are being "Addressed" in a dumbed down badly written mess made by someone who either was born to the right family or likely had to do some unsavory "favors" in order to write it at all, the least moral and most easily corruptable group on the planet preaching to you is ineffective at best, worthless more than not.
>They will even recap the moral at the end of the episode.Nobody liked these, ever and people have spent the last 20 years making fun of them because of how dumb they are.
>Now politics is having a gay, black or women in a cartoon. No, now VIRTUE SIGNALING is having a gay, black or woman, because the other stuff didn't stick and they need something to brag to the press about.
