The S2 writers did a good job with Chloé making her more interesting, but then Thomas came along and with S3 he destroyed any possibility of redemption, cementing it further with Zoe, another Mary Sue for whom everything works out.
He says that no child would want to be like Chloé because she is bad, meanwhile Marinette stalks Adrien and tries to destroy all his relationships because she is the only one who can be with him.
