I like Invincible, hell I love it, but it has its problems, and one of those problems is that Mark is a fucking chew toy for every female character and authority figure in the cast. If he's not getting his colon pulled out by Conquest, he's getting it chewed out by some preaching harpy or self-righteous shit telling him he didn't save the day hard enough or fast enough or RIGHT enough for their personal taste.
Everyone bitches about TV Amber, but the truth is that she's just the crystallization of a theme that exists for the entire run of the comic: Mark is a soft suburban whipped bitch.
