The prize at the end of F2's journey is an IMAX-sized Iduna telling Elsa she's always been special, and smiling down on her in pride. They turned "seeing Dead Mom who is beloved by both sisters" into a reward, then kicked Anna to the curb before she got there. I hate that.
If Anna is going to be Queen, doesn't she deserve to see her mother, the former Queen? Apparently not, because she's locked in Ahtohallan, and that's only for people born with magic. The spirits all agree that only their favorite human gets to reach the finish line.
And every day Elsa keeps Ahtohallan a secret is a day I hate the writing more. They even cut the scene that would have made it acceptable to me, then released it like it was nothing but a funny blooper on the cutting room floor. I'm going to be SEETHING until they fix this. Even if Elsa tells Anna what she saw, and Anna says "I'm happy for you, but I think I'll keep my own memories" and doesn't care, that would be great, since at least Anna knows and gets to decide on her own terms. It's so easy to fix, but they just haven't, and the gap between the sisters grows wider every day.
Sorry, this is the only place I get to vent about cartoons.
