He starts with an okay thumbnail and okay initial sketch, but then arbitrarily for no fucking reason butchers all sense of movement. look at panel 1 in the initial two sketches, theres a clear line of action, clear moment, then look at the rest, he changed it so theres no momentum, no line of action, and the characters pose is bow-legged and jacked up with awful balance, it looks more like he's picking up a heavy hammer than swinging an axe
Panel 2 in the original showed the action of the tree falling effectively while giving a sense of scale, plus its weighty due to its immediacy in falling over but int he final one its near entirely off panel for no reason
Panel 3 is okay, i guess
Panel 4 and 5 had much better rhythm and pacing in the original sketch, while the final one is more static and literal.
Panel 6, for some insane fucking reason, he redid so the figure ISNT centered, despite being the focus, when it WAS centered previously.
Panel 7 turns the guy into a hunchback for no real reason while also needlessly obfuscating what his aciton is where previously it was clear cut, and even successfully comedic in how nonchalant and casual he threw away his carving.
The final one didnt change much but Andrew is a terrible colorist so it still looks like shit.
