Don't get me wrong, I love TMNT, but I noticed that all the stories Eastman wrote without Laird have turned out to be quite disappointing and lame. This made me wonder whether Peter Laird was the one who made the concept work in the first place. He also helped produce the 2k3 show which was the best animated adaptation of the turtles in my opinion.
