Christopher Priest came out of retirement
His writing on Deathstroke and US Agent are highly recommended
The Goon's first run at Dark Horse ended and Powell began working on Hillbilly
The Goon also got revived at Powell's own publishing house but its not as good
I Hate Fairyland's on the simple side but the artwork is solid enough to carry it
Mark Russell's became a /co/ fan favorite
New Super-Man may seem like a pandering mess but its actually good and Kenan's a fan favorite on /co/ as well
Dan Slott finally left Spider-Man and I've heard good things about the new ongoing at least initially, haven't kept tabs

I recommend Godzilla in Hell
Archie Sonic had a reboot because of some Penders nonsense and also ended and IDW Sonic has replaced it
Both are pretty good
You also missed out on Archie Mega Man which had a crossover with Archie Sonic, two in fact
Power Rangers finally got an ongoing comic and while it has its highs and lows, I recommend trying it out if you're a fan of the series (avoid Drakkon's New Dawn and Pink though)
Scioli's Transformers vs GI Joe I can recommend as well, his Go-Bots comic is also a highlight
Oh yeah, speaking of Flintstones you have to read the Booster Gold crossover. It's hilarious

Never read any of the Brubaker Image stuff but always heard good things about it. Deadpool I read a lot of it when it came back in late 2000's and I feel like I can't read anymore of that, I'm all Deadpool'd out. They really milked that shit back then.

The basic heuristic of good creators making good shit is still fine. Bendis has plummeted in quality.
Tom king has a few good early books, in Sherrif of Bagdad, Vision, and a green lantern book the Omega men which are good. His other stuff is mostly garbage.
Waid has fallen off the wagon.
Aaron has the mostly good Southern Bastards, but his big 2 shit is pure shit.
