>>122833004I'm not that anon but I have the feeling I know how it'll all end, in general terms.
[spoilers]We know a few things are pretty much guaranteed to happen:[/spoilers]
[spoilers]-It'll have to end with a more normal status quo[/spoilers]
[spoilers]-The Krakoa experiment has to fail spectacularly eventually, because of the enemies they're making outside and within[/spoilers]
[spoilers]Moira will eventually die and get an 11th life, as foretold by Destiny. Also, her actions can result in mostly identical timelines, as shown by several of her lives including various "normal" continuity events[/spoilers]
[spoilers]-It won't get undone retroactively, because the continuity of other books has touched upon the Krakoa story. King in Black, Champions, etc.[/spoilers]
So what I think will happen is:
[spoilers]When everything inevitably goes wrong and Krakoa collapses, there'll be a turning point where Xavier's actions will make the difference between a terrible catastrophe (near or complete extinction, end of the world, etc.), or a more moderate downfall and a return to partial normalcy. Moira will die to reset the timeline, and, before her powers manifest, somehow manage to give a young Xavier all the information he needs to make everything up to that turning point happen, and to also make the right choice to avert the big catastrophe. Then she'll die for real, cementing the timeline as the permanent one. Alternatively, instead of doing it young, she'll give Xavier the information, and then create the mutant cure to depower herself, and die at the point she died in the pre-retcon story.[/spoilers]
That's what I think anyway.
