Neil Gaiman is a fucking greedy cunt despite people seeing him as a saint. He was dissapointed that his MiracleMan didn't generate earth shattering sales and lost interest in it. Instead he chooses to focus on amazon prime bastardizations of his already made work.

And they actually rereleased they existing Miracleman comics since then so it seems they could back it up

They didn't censor the birth issue; just recolored it complete with Veitch himself being allowed full control over how they recolored it.

The only things got censored was the digital versions of 1-3 covering mikes wife's ass and the word nigger

Especially as he develops past the initial superhero stuff. He literally changes the whole world to he some utopian paradise with luxury communism

I can’t imagine how he’d work in a world filled with superheroes and villains already

More like the other way around. the original run was 24 issues with the 25th penciled but never released. The Marvel reprints only made it as far as issue 22

Here's the thing, Gaiman doesn't give a flying fuck about Superheros, except in the most academic sense.

He fought court battles with McFarlane for years for the rights to get Angela back, just to sell her to Marvel (who made her Thor's long lost sister). He didn't need the money, he just wanted to stick it to Todd.
