>>122646756Well, if it's a story with a defined start and ending, I'd say that the two characters should get together no sooner than after the midpoint and while you theoretically could just have the two characters get together on the last page, you'd really want them to get together no later than the second to last chapter.
If it's an animated thing instead of a comic or book, then you'd want them to get together just a bit sooner than second to last 'chapter', and if it's an episodic like Adventure Time or Regular Show, then it's fine to get the two characters together sometime in the second season. First season is way to early.
