>>122007286>>122007259>>122007205>>122007203Streaming killed stuff really hard.
First, the ratings on the late night AS stuff started to drop. But of course, it was like 4 AM so who cared...
But then even the more "normie" originals like Robot Chicken and Aqua Teen were pulling bad numbers in the 12 and 1 AM hours.
And then the ratings for the FOX shows from 10 PM - 12 PM started to sink. Averaged 2 million in 2018, 1.5 million in 2019, 800,000 in 2020...
And in 2021? Here's the most recent ratings report from last saturday...
Rick & Morty (repeat) (Adult Swim, 10:00 PM, 30 min.) • 0.397 million viewers
Final Space S2:E07 (repeat) (Adult Swim, 10:30 PM, 30 min.) • 0.300 million viewers
Family Guy (repeat) (Adult Swim, 11:00 PM, 30 min.) • 0.367 million viewers
Family Guy (repeat) (Adult Swim, 11:30 PM, 30 min.) • 0.433 million viewers
Family Guy reruns are down nearly 1000% from where they were a few years ago. And that's supposed to be the sure thing, the big breadwinner for AS, the normie bait that tricks people into staying tuned into whatever comes on next.
