Thanos' powers are simple: He can manipulate reality by snapping his fingers via the gauntlet. This makes his fight scenes interesting, because the heroes have a clear goal (take the gauntlet) and a clear fail-state(don't let him snap his fingers).
I haven't seen Justice League nor read any of the comics Darkseid is in, but I can't imagine cloning, laser eyes, teleportation, mind control, necromancy, and being able to change his size all allow for a coherent fight scene.
This is coming from a DC fan BTW
