>>121852220Not him, but I think you need to first and foremost allow yourself to be what you want to be, in other words don't cut yourself short, and realize that you are entitled to pursue your goals/happiness just as much as anyone else is. Take more ownership of yourself.
There is a high probability that you hide your true self, or true potential as it were, from others. You may or may not dumb yourself down in front of others, or put a protective shield when you are social situations.
It's also possible that certain events in your life have made you apathetic and desensitized to a lot of what goes on around you. This dryness in your being can be remedied by starting to appreciate the smaller things in life again, which could mean limiting yourself from the spoils of modernity.
Taking walks among nature for example or limiting your connection to the digital world and paying more attention to the real world can be beneficial imo.
