I don't mind the boots. She can get them later. Even the lightning looks like this is more her first iteration of the costume she pulled together with clothes she already had. It's cute.

Call me sentimental, but I like the idea more that Kamala just uses a blue T-Shirt that she flips inside out to become her superhero costume. Like, her MCU shirt is fine, but I just liked the "Made with the materials in my room" look.

the only reason i care about this show is because i know she'll get a new comic when it starts. the mcu is so fucking stale at this point i haven't been able to finish one of it's movies in ages.

Well technically all Kamala did was pep talk Gwen, and Gwen was willing to accept her oblivion until the writer threw her a bone. Besides Gwen isn’t really a mutant, it’s the lie she’s rolling with to stay relevant
