She claims he made it up and lied to her about it out of jealousy.
Note that McHale is happily married and that this accusation she decided to make public for some reason does not involve inappropriate advances or physical behavior on his part in any way.
Anyway, McHale and the Blasting Company are still friends who promote each others’ work constantly (implying that the interaction recounted by Yi was a misunderstanding, a regrettable mistake that was easily patched over, or something that never happened) and she’s now lost a bunch of people she was friends with for years over this.
