I used to really like steven universe primarily because of its waifu characters and comfy aesthetics, but by the time the finale was rushed without exploring homeworld whike the previous season was mostly wasted on townie shit or stevens stupid connie wont talk to him plot i became annoyed. I loved the movie but when i saw the trailer for future i thought wed finally get more gem content, but it turned out it was just more steven shit and whining about "muh PTSD". The "anti-rascist" PSAs also didnt help the show in my favor
