>>121666333I did, I thought it was okay: I'm unsure if they are going to continue to use Gwen in the story, I personally hope they do because while this is serviceable in lieu of a proper role for over a year, it's going to be a little disappointing if that is her extent to the story. As she herself pointed out, Head Games seems to delve into the concept of both ret-cons and expanding upon another character's past to try and add more depth, and as someone who received a bundle of characterization for what was initially literally just a parody-cover I think she'd be appropriate to use more, especially considering her attachment to MODOK from her own book.
Characterization wise still not as good a portrayal as Unbelievable but better than others. Pretty quippy even by her own standards in the first half (though the bit about Jordon was funny) and she breaks the 4th wall too explicitly as she did in GSB, but at least it isn't strictly to be a meme-generator and actually comes up with a creative new user of her powers with coercing the reader to cut/paste MODOK to be non-bisected anymore. Also displays a bit of empathy she learned in Unbelievable for a character struggling to expand their backstory, but as I said I am hoping it isn't the only use of her in the series because it was still a pretty brief appearance.
