>>121444981It also has to do with WB's mentality of being late to the party or current trend and having to play catch up. That being said, since the ATT merger, a lot of the dinosaurs that meddled, constantly, on projects like The Matrix, Man of Steel, Batman v Superman, Green Lantern, the CW shows, Harry Potter, etc, have been uprooted. Which is why you now see WB pushing streaming, investing money into things like Titans, Stargirl, Justice Society, Harry Potter, same day as theatre, etc. They know the antiquated style of Hollywood needs to change. I also expect Snyder's JL and Affleck's Batman are going to continue on via "DC Multiverse offerings'.
>>121445036You'd think, but it's not the case and has been WB's modus operandi since the late 70's. My mother wrote under WB Books(before changing publishers) and it was the same shit. I currently work at WB and I can tell you that even though it's toned down, the big-wigs like to interfere.
>>121445069Yeah. Can't believe he killed Zod. In my Reeve's films, he threw his S-Shield at him and trapped him, then flung him off into space. And if you think MoS was all Goyer, you're both mistaken and have no idea how these work out. Nolan, Goyer, and Snyder most likely had multiple meetings and tons of people saying what should be, what shouldn't be, plus all the changes on set, etc.
