I don't get this dude's apparent position that hoodies weren't a thing in the late '80s or early '90s or whenever this is supposed to resemble. He said that apparently he drew Marco differently to resemble how a Mexican kid would more likely be drawn in a cartoon from then, which, okay, fair, but like why not give Star a stupid '80s perm or something?
IDK it's a bit annoying that one's just translated into the new style cleanly and the other has a complete makeover. Also, Star has irises but Marco doesn't? I guess maybe that was a thing with female designs vs. male in the Disney Afternoon era? IDK they look like they're from two different shows
