How would you adapt the Zorro in an animated series?

I'd probably watch everything, from the original show to those Antonio Banderas movie (that existed for some reason) and...probably make it a limited series anyway since there's only so much you can do with him anyway anymore.

I will like to do stuff like have Zorro travel to the young united states or europe but I'm sure the license holders are against it.
A legacy Zorro during the american old west will also not get done.
The only thing I imagine the 18010 Zorro has left to do is fight on the mexican revolution but I'm sure the license holders will be against that too.

Honestly, an adaptation of The Curse of Capistrano would work out pretty well. YOu'd just have to cut out all the anti-Jesuit stuff, maybe punch up the ending a little, but that's about it

easiest way to do it would be like the Lupin series on netflix. set in modern times it's not about Zorro, but someone who grew up reading the stories and watching the adaptations, and adopts the persona as he sets out to right some wrongs
