>>121056495...while there may be state level exceptions I'm unfamiliar with, as far as I'm aware the hiring and continued employment of illegals is still penalized and can carry both an increasing fine as well as jail time, dependent on number of/repeated nature of infractions. I mean, a quick google search brings me to Code § 1324a, which is pretty straightforward and what I recalled of the matter.
The law exists. If there are some specific exemptions it'd be worthwhile to talk about them and if they are/are not warranted, but from your rhetoric I'd say you don't care about the specifics and just have an overarching belief about how the world works and damned be any facts that stand in the way of it. This is what I mean about boring politics.
>>121056164Christ almighty, I'll even reach across the isle to say how stupid this all is. Wealth, according to leftist principals isn't inherently a bad thing. If a worker manages to enrich themselves through their work (such as a youtuber/streamer) then they are entitled to their earnings as a member of the proletariat. There may be an argument for them being a petite bourgeoisie, but they aren't automatically a member of the bourgeoisie just by their bank account. A member of the bourgeoisie is as such due to their relation to the means of production.
If you're going to espouse some leftist talking point at least don't make it so poorly. Honestly, this is my issue with politics. Everyone just talks about it on the level of buzzwords instead of trying to understand the ideas. I don't even agree with much of Marxist philosophy as I'm a fan of capitalism, but at the very least I've taken the time to learn about it. God damn.
