>>120923477The nice thing about slaying demons is that it's not like reaching an unavoidable impasse with good men and having to sever good men from the Earth: robbing a community of its patriarchs and sons. And feeling that pain that reverberates outward, sometimes distorting families for generations - there's none of that. There's no sense of loss. Not even the demons mourn one another; they only view it as a detriment to themselves, which I guess it is. Their children are offended rather than distraught. It's uh, very odd, but a relief, honestly. All of it is a relief.
