Removing people who have sex out of short sighted hedonism, and want to have abortions in order to escape the consequences of their actions, from the genepool, would actually indeed improve our species, as it would weed out the genes that predispose people towards short term, impulsive, pleasure seeking behavior, as well as genes that promote temperaments that seek to escape from the consequences of their actions.
Removal of the types of people like you, and the genes which create them, would be a net benefit form mankind.
