When will people stop getting obssessive about cartoons having 'character depth', 'flaws' and 'trauma'? It's so fucking unoriginal and BORING. Every story under the sun since the late 90s has been obsessed with some stupid notion of character flaw etc, which is just a product of the modern memeified belief that the only way to make a good character is to give them trauma or pain. Cartoon characters are supposed to be high ass abstract concepts that everyone knows and can enjoy. The quicker we stop thinking about these shows like they're gay ass
