>>120506552As one of if not the only Miles fan here in the thread, I was legitimately on board for Him, Kamala and Sam forming the core of a 'new' team, thinking "Oh, this is gonna be like Marvel's answer to the Titans or something. Good times."
And then I got pretty disappointed in the results. Not...like, enraged or butthurt, but just disappointed. Them stopping a human trafficking ring was cool but so much of the book was just inner party drama and questioning of their next step. They didn't have a proper direction.
Part of me feels like they also should have just had a better roster to go along with the three I mentioned other than "nobody asked for this" time displaced teen Cyclops, Vision's daughter and the new Hulk. Shit, I would have been down for Squirrel girl joining this team and the villain turned out to be... I don't know, a fucking flying shark with a nazi brain in a jar plugged into its skull, if we're being honest. Just give them an overreaching goal FFS.
