Too "safe". The internet is several decades old so people have long gotten used to being oversaturated with media and when you've seen it all you either accept that everything in pop culture is, and always has been, based on something else, or you become addicted to chasing artificial-novelty and subversions.

I never liked it.
It's not terrible or anything but it is pretty bland and unimaginative. Doesn't have a memorable score or lines or action scenes even.

1. /co/ is not one person
2. People have ALWAYS been saying that the movie is not very good. Not that it's bad, just that it's not very good. Lobo comes and goes and does nothing, Superman does nothing, Martian Manhunter plays undercover secret agent for no reason, Parasite kills himself with zero input from Superman.
