But rather than actively policing anybody, it generally only consisted of making the kid sit by the teacher's lounge and make sure that nobody goes inside or bothers the teachers on a break. When it was my turn , i pretty much was just the buffer who would ask students what they need, and tell them if the teacher they're looking for is currently available.
