Second, that show had some gorgeous background art and forest scenery the likes of which you’d see in feature films. And finally, I get the feeling that Disney freaked out when Hirsch finally decided to end the series with Season 2, so they stretched it out for as long as they could (not too different from how CN stretched out Adventure Time’s final [shortest] season over the course of a year).
