Ends up forgiving the diamonds but cant forgive his mom even though what she did is not even comparable to what the diamonds did and even partially corrected and took accountability for being aligned with them.
>Suddenly goes through trauma in Future even though he never experienced it until the last episode of Steven Universe and Steven blames his dad for trying to give him a more free life so he didn't have to endure what he went through.
>liberal (not leftist) overarching theme for the series in that things can be reformed if everyone just started being nice and showed feelings when in reality its the system in place that makes everything shit and garbage and not people simply being unkind to one another and the series had a preachy holier than thou tone
>Absolutely atrocious side characters like Lars, Ronaldo and that fat girl Sadie who cucked Lars and all have horrible stereotype personalities
>Fat ugly gems because of body positivity or whatever some of the gems had good designs though
>Absolutely 0 worldbuilding. Series either took place in token gem spots (like gem homeworld or pink's zoo) or in that stupid beach town. For that matter there was no lore in the series and we never even learned about who created the diamonds. A writer had to reveal after future ended that gems were solar powered robots and that was it. Sugar instead decided to dedicate future towards her soapbox about trauma.
