Bloks are destroyed when ANY of their eyes are hit and we've seen Yumi's fans destroying Kankrelats (Wait, that's really their english name? Cool.) with a sideways sweep, and Ulrich once destroyed a Krab from below, so they don't HAVE to hit the brand to destroy the monsters. They DO deal extra points of damage in there, but is just the same for them. Hitting an arm is just 10 points, but the same attack on the chest or head can go way over 30 in one shot.
But again, when in Lyoko they are just code. We see them on the supercomputer as sprites and unlike the humans, there are no visible segments on their bodies to determine different damage values.
