It is okay, and better than a lot of story-driven shows, but it has major flaws
First of all, the universe doesn't feel as unique and interesting/deep as it did in AtlA
Secondly, although it tries to tackle more mature questions, such as political philosophy and long-standing PTSD, it really doesn't live up to the ambitions it set out, and comes of as trying too hard to explain something it doesn't really understand.
Thirdly, although the action is good, even that doesn't have the same feel to it as AtlA did. The different bending techniques are essentially boiled down to "magic person throw element", with no distinction between the four, aside from the sub-skills (blood-bending, lightning bending etc)
There's probably more, but i think those are the main problems
