Seriously, why cant DC & Marvel just stick to doing Slice of Life mixed with action story arcs like in manga? It worked for Power Girl. And it was her best run.

I think that both Marvel and DC would benefit from having a consistent SoL book, but that kind of format doesn't work for every character.

you're kinda right, one thing I did like about Robin's 1993 run was how it wasn't just constant fighting but we also saw him deal with teenage stuff, sure most of it was badly written, but it was more entertaining than seeing a hero punch a bad guy for 20 pages, and it definitely made robin feel more human
