The art direction, though I'm certain can be hit or miss for most people, is still interesting to watch, and I'm always able to fond something interesting to look at in every shot (though most shots cram as many interesting things in as possible)
It fills a niche that is entirely unfilled. An adult animation that doesn't pretend to be for kids (ala Star Vs. or Steven Universe), but isn't a simple by the numbers adult animated sitcom like Rick and Morty, Family Guy, or Bob's Burgers.
It's creator driven which is admirable in its own right.

I don't think it's some masterpiece but an indie hot topic lady is making the best animation in the west right now. Imagine what we could be enjoying right now if studios actually gave a damn.
