There were newspaper columns about her by trans Harry Potter fans (they were actual journalists, mind, not randos) telling her they felt upset and what have you, but it was quite level headed and not unkind.
COmpare that with the death threats she got on Twitter. Most of those people are clearly anti-fans, with an obsessive hatred of 'nerdy' Harry Potter. Or male feminists who cannot control themselves (unlike me), like an alpha male stereotype with feelings (think PC Principal from South Park). Or both.
It's like the white BLMers who call black people who disagree with them, on anything, a coon or a nigger. Such as Zoe Saldana. See pic.
