>>119492411First three seasons had a direction that tied together all the anime/slice-of-life/action/adventure/sci-fi/fighting stuff they were going for.
Next three seasons were sort of limbo, since they were trying to transfer the role of antagonist, and the lack of urgency/tension in the story caused the story to loose steam. On the bright side, they tied up character arcs and showed us what happened on Earth.
Final two seasons rushed things, ruined character development, and most events made no sense whatsoever.
As for the sexual-deviance romance, I wouldn't have noticed that Shiro was gay until the very end with his marriage. His flashbacks to his old friend played out much more like a solid male bond instead of a romance.
>>119493844I find the Dreamworks shows were very Hit or Miss.
Spirit, Dragons: Race to the Edge, and Trollhunters were absolute kino.
Butt Home, DINOTRUX, and Croods need to be purged from existence.
Voltron flipflopped between the two, *hard*.
