>>119499498So there's this thing about "point" sound sources (which don't actually exist, but headphones are a good approximation of) vs larger sound sources. Basically for a large bass speaker you can create sound shaking beats that you can feel two miles away without blowing out anyone's ears. But for headphones to create serious physical sensation they'd have to be either absurdly audiophile huge or would be dangerous amplitudes when worn.
Get a high quality set of headphones and crank up the bass to the point that it hurts your ears then put your fingertips on them. Could you feel it? Yes. Would it get you off? Doubtful.
