14 years ago it was sloppy doodles inspired by Garfield and the '00s weeb boom, then it grew a spine and tried to get dramatic with some improving albeit unsteady results. Then it collapsed under its own weight and gave up on the main drama but meandered around without direction for a few years. Now it's a low-effort sole-income-source for the married couple who run it. It's not very good.

I'm bored so here have an art comparison.
the 'bean-like' face with a bigger cheek than forehead can be seen in the redraw. The ears are also less round.
Whiskers in the original point down.
Also, actual fingers in the new one.

I agree, I think the old head shape was cuter.

This one is from the same chapter, but is almost a 1:1 copy and might even use the exact same lineart. The main difference is Lucy's legs.

A lot of these were reworked slightly just to give Lucy more of a cheek. These examples are somewhere in between the current bean face style and the older face.

Here is a dialogue change. The newer lines have less interesting subtext.

I think the visual transition to the older style works less well in the redraw.

Lucy's mom has a lesss generic look now and wears clothes.

The clearly human doll was kept in.

The biggest change so far is this line of dialogue from Lucy's mom.

Mike's looking a little nervous there.

The weird Panel where Yashy looks like a kawaii anime girl is replaced, probably a good move

The Sonic Riders reference was replaced like the Barbie one, maybe to remove unintentional innuendo or to remove IP reference. Who knows.

The next chapter is more or less untouched, with minor rewording. The news guy is called Steve now.

David looks more enamored with Lucy and less like he's kidding around. Daisy also looks completely in love with Mike.

There's a panel change to let Lucy explain where Yashy's name is from.
The major obvious difference is Sue's design.

The next one, "Flying Lessons", is actually a redraw of "Chirpy's Introduction", which was removed from the chapter list.

The opening sequence is different, here's a lazy shrink down to put them side by side.

The characters are less cat like now which makes this sequence funny.

In the original, Lucy implies the problem is Mike touching her at all, not shoving her.

A few panels of Yashy saying "Yoshi" are retconned. Not sure why they weren't replaced with baby talk.

A DBZ reference got taken out, Yashy "flies" in the end of the redraw by jumping Mike, and that's about it for that chapter.

On to "Prom Preparation". Paulo's line is somewhat different here. An obscure joke is removed. Daisy no longer likes classical music for some reason.

I noticed Paulo's dialogue was softened a tiny bit in this chapter too, with his talk about slapping girls if they complain about dating a lot at once with just ditching them if they don't like it.

Anyways, appreciate the comparisons. I have to admit I like the redrawn chapters for the most part. She did a good job.
