Steven Universe isn't good (if you like it) because of its gay elements anymore than Star Trek is good for its pretty lasers. Those are just decorations on the real story, which isn't at all SJW related.
Star versus the Forces of Evil is a perfect example of SJW story telling. The end disappointed EVERYONE. Even the hard-core fans simply ignore that it happened and create fan-canon alternatives.
Lefty / SJW inclined writers don't understand themselves, and therefore don't understand good writing. Whatever they try to insert into entertainment either falls simply short, if they are lucky, or falls on its face.
You can namecall and scream all you want, but you can't handwave away the truth about the bad writing they have influenced.
