The story and script was ok, I guess. The art had it's fluid moments, but I came here to watch Rankin-Bass, not Home Movies.

The R&S reboot is a bad idea regardless as it's going to be writer driven, so I'm expecting the animation to resemble a shitty family guy knockoff. If anything, it proved that this site still does have influence, despite twitter turning into Tumblr but worse. Hell twitter steals half of it's memes from /tv/ anyways.

I think that has more to do with the quality of the product presented rather than who's rallying against it. Roar was utter dogshit and the R&S Reboot is... ??? Maybe it'll be alright I dunno but it hasn't been shown to be a wretched cartoon like Roar was.

Perhaps I should say I watched, like 5 episodes so far. Plus the Teen Titans ep and how /co wouldn't shut up about it. I do want to watch Grune, because I dug the badassery of that character even if he was a villain.
And yes, origonal TC had as much idiotic stuff in it as any other 80s cartoon. Did they have the Luna-tacks in Roar?
We'll probably get Silverhawks next.
