For me, it's Green Goblin's first appearance in the 2002 Spider-Man movie. Legit amazing buildup and payoff, when those dudes were turned into skeletons the theater went wild.

I was a very sheltered ten year old when that movie hit theaters and the skelebones bomb legit scared the shit out of me. I can only imagine how many more nightmares I'd have had if they'd used the original comic accurate mask.

I legit wanted to cry in the theater but everyone was so quiet I had to whimper by myself in silence. I think that movie also gave me a small childhood phobia of skeletons for a while

Great choice.

Technically, my choice doesn't count, since it's his second appearance in the movie with the costume on, but this scene is still amazing to me. One handing Lois then the helicopter while the score builds in the back triumphantly still works.
