Each episode features a new problem, with a routine that develops around how they go about solving the problem. The gnome always wants the problem to be solved quickly before the gardener gets back but the pixies take a long time to do it because they go for overly complex solutions.
Most of the problems are the just run of the mill issues that you get when running a garden. Fountain clogged, rabbits stealing the carrots, flowers dying from fungi.
Most of the solution are Rube Goldberg tier.
Also all the pixies are boys to avoid fanservice.
