I've been kinda, like, aware in the back of my head that these threads were made every now and then, but I wasn't aware it had become such an anticipated Halloween tradition here, mostly because I'm no 4channer, but a fair number of folks tweeted at me today and brought me here haha!
Lemme just say straight away after scrolling through here, I can see most of y'all think it's dumb and edgy and the art is really bad and I just wanna say I agree 100000% LOL, this was me fresh out of high school, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed in art college, and on a huge kick of edgy werewolf tales and Ed Edd n Eddy, so this three-part fan comic was the result of that. Sure, it was my baby at the time, but I've moved forward with new, very fulfilling projects, so I can look back on this and laugh too.
And on that note, thank you SO MUCH to Eddyween for linking to my current work, it means a lot to me, and I hope folks check out Court of Roses; it's not campy horror, but it's still a lot of fun, to make and to show others, and it's ongoing and I'm really excited for where it's headed.
I guess I'm open to questions if anyone's got 'em, and I'm also curious who made the "official playlist" LOL did you derive it from one I made on playlist dot com or grooveshark? Just curious, if not and it's just a fan playlist, I'd love to give a listen to the selections!
