>>118703697>Wtf why?The swole ones are clearly one-note parody characters with no depth or personality beyond "bully jock" and "discount Superman", IMO that makes their interactions with the protagonists super boring to watch, and they're ugly too, so it's not like there are any other reasons to watch them.
Where's the fun in beating up a strawman? Villainous is supposed to be a show about villains fighting heroes, and what differentiates it from other Western kids' cartoons with the same premise is that the main characters are truly despicable people, but because most heroes in this world we've seen so far are those invulnerable-looking, roided-out jerks who sometimes act more villainous than the actual villains, the main characters don't come off as evil as they should for beating them.
What I really want to see is a clash of personalities and beliefs, and heroes who look more physically frail, and are actually heroic or morally grey instead of cookie-cutter asshole butt-chins the likes of Sunblast. If the heroes are going to be villainous too, they should at least make them interesting ffs.
As for the onion ring hero, while he might turn out to be just as boring and one-dimensional as the others, he has some potential to be different, and at the very least he doesn't make my eyes bleed.
