>>118572117From what little I gather the seven forces/the stupid DOOM philosophy powers up Perpetua, rather than her pointing and going "Okay I use the Void Wind, I use the Tear of Extinction even though it was only created by an atlantean king in this era and also it's totally redundant next to the Void Wind, I use the Still Force to make Barry job to Catwoman" and more the forces existing and being used at all make her stronger.
A generous interpretation would posit that Perpetua is simply using them all together to do her reality warping powers/fling planets as if that's supposed to look impressive.
>>118572139IIRC the Doom Vote was the thing that powered her up enough to win, she was getting spanked pretty hard by the retarded Gogeta-style fusion until Kendra fucked around long enough for Apex Lex to get his second wind. There are definitely other forces out there though, she mentioned "Hands" and comes from a race of Super Celestials that make other multiverses the DC one is cut off from, and according to her they're even worse than her. Yes, it is basically the Kaguya/Otsutsuki Clan bullshit, and I'm still convinced the Empty Hand is her El Hermano.
She CLAIMED at the end of Snyder League that she also foresaw everything and "let them have this story" but I mean...considering how Perpetua has been proveable BTFO repeatedly and how Batkek himself pointed out in Hell Arisen that her foresight isn't perfect, based on the circumstances it seems much more likely in context to be an empty boast.
>>118572206Point of order while that's true, the Totality itself being freed and entering the multiverse proper also re-energised the Hidden Forces into becoming active again and discoverable in the first place. It's a bit of a symbiotic relationship, and the explaination for why until now the Still Force/Ultraviolet Spectrum wasn't nearly as prominent in DC's history.
