But in all seriousness I am refering to the stylistic trends. The overly simplified designs, the stiffness of the body language. Gravity Falls, Loud House, Steven Universe, Rick and Morty. They look like shit. You could argue that, for example, Catdog did too, but it was supposed to look grotesque (and also it worked against it because nobody liked the ugliness of the show).
>>118431045No, I mean it kind of is a cheap trick to get easy attention with no effort. And that is okay because blah blah blah.
>It doesn't, especially live action showsLive action sucks because you can't do stylized stuff.
I hate to bring anime into this, but Kill La Kill is a great example of a show being good due to sex and violence. That was also much of the reason why Duke Nukem became popular back in the day. Bang bang and shake it baby. I guess Samurai Jack is a good example of a western cartoon what was great because of the action.
Older kids might remember Bravestarr. It was castrated by censors like all Filmation shows, but kids still liked it specifically because of Bravestarr kicking ass with his powers, his horse blamming stuff, and the babe judge looking hot.
>what do you think people used before any of this was inventedHentai scrolls, statues and pots with nudes drawn on them.
