#blacktober is a Twitter tag for black artists who wanna draw the black versions of existing characters in geek media. Just so you know, AFAIK, its not a political movement, its just a sort of self-encouragement. Theyve drawn/uploaded so many black characters with the tag for several days.

Many of them are usual Tumblr stuff, and its hard to say they are quality, but also there's a bunch of non-Tumblr CGs And I just noticed theres no capeshit art with the tag. Almost all of them are anime or shonen stuff despite the "diverse characters" in the cape industry. Almost all the black drawfags are basically drawing Japanese characters. What do you think about it?
